Dockers use Pre Season Draft draft well
Fremantle have once again refused to follow convention in their draft picks. Mark Harvey has decided to redraft Josh Head from South Fremantle four years after the Dockers had dropped him from their rookie list. He finished second in the Bulldogs fairest and best count and is know for his run out of defence.
The Dockers next pick was Brent Connelly from the Gippsland Power, a well built 200cm ruckman. Their third pick was Luke Pratt, a local player from Swan Districts who was added to the Rookie list. He starred in defence for the WA Under 18's side.
Joining him on the rookie list were re-drafted players Calib Mourish and Ryley Dunn. Fremantle were fortunate to pick up Dunn with many other clubs courting him.
The Dockers have had particular success with their rookie drafted players, with All Australian Roger Hayden picked up previously through the PSD
