Heathrow crash plane 'just dropped'

Air crash investigators are trying to work out why a Boeing 777 landed short of the runway at London Heathrow airport, skidding on grass and ripping apart sections of the aircraft.

If I ever see that plane back in service I think I’ll give it a miss … looks pretty well banged up, and we all know what cars are like after an insurance company insists on repairs instead of writing it off …

How would you be, as the pilot? All of a sudden you’re in control of this 200 tonne heap of metal and people and no power … just “gliding” in; geez, I’d be freakin’ out.
