There has been a lot of talk about tanking and the fact that a lottery would fix it.
There has been a lot of talk about tanking and the fact that a lottery would fix it.
IT IS A MYTH!
To get an understanding on what to do about tanking you have to define what tanking is.
If you say its being encouraged to lose games and finish lower as the main objective, then you get rid of the Priority Pick and that problem is solved to as great an extent as you can.
If you say its resting players and playing the kids, there is no answer because unless you fine/penalise teams you think are doing this, there is nothing you can do with the draft that makes it less attractive for teams to get there players ready for the next season.
