BetWest reduce odds on Eagles flag

Betting West have reduced the odds on a West Coast Premiership from $21 to $13 after a betting frenzy on the weekend. West Coast were listed behind Sydney and Port Adelaide, but have now been placed behind Geelong, St Kilda, Fremantle, Collingwood and Hawthorn. Wayde Aneer from Betting West said the amount of money coming in from cashed up Eagles fans had forced the reduction in the odds.
The largest wager taken was from a WA resident, which was a bet of $5,000. Annear has taken over $300,000 collectively on the Eagles to win the elusive prize.
