West Coast receive football lesson from Crows
In a insipid display sure to anger West Coast fans, the Eagles have received a drubbing at the hands of a much more spirited Adelaide.
The Crows have not beaten West Coast since round 22, 2005, but today rectified that hoodoo with a comprehensive win of 21.7 (133) to 8.9 (57). West Coast looked old and slow compared to their less fancied rivals and key players such as Embley appeared disinterested at times in competing.
Despite not receiving a tag player, Daniel Kerr was also far from his best yet Cox often had the ruck ascendancy.
Worsfold's coaching was predictable, with Hunter being moved forward and yet this had little effective on the result. Playing for club pride in the fourth quarter, the Eagles showed nothing, with the Crows finishing them off in style with 8 goals.
