Omnidrive a shadow of its former self
It seems another start up that showed so much promise, even Michael Arrington's friendship can't save Nik Cubrilovic's Australian start up Omnidrive. It has been reported up to $200,000 dollars is owing to customers, employees and investors whom allegedly did not receive shares that were to be converted upon securing Silicon Valley Venture Capital.
Is the light starting to fade in Web 2.0 investment. Maybe only the cream of the crop are the ones being invested in. Whatever is happening in the valley, it is to be expected to see some start up's struggle to secure VC funding, leaving Angel Investor's at risk that the start up, in this case Omnidrive would run out of money. Its a shame as Nik Cubrilovic seemed to be the "third" wheel in the love triangle of Michael Arrington and "lookalike" Valley Angel, Jeff Clavier

reports are in that it is more than $200,000. It is still uncertain how much is owing to creditors, it could be up towards the $1m mark. Who knows, we can’t get a response out of Omnidrive’s CEO to confirm the reports
