A group led by Kevin Warwick, Professor of Cybernetics and author of "I, Cyborg", has developed the first robot controlled by living neurons cultured from rats. I, for one, welcome our new ratty overlords. Scribe gets a huge F for using Franken-noun.

Incidentally, read Warwick’s book. He made himself into a cyborg. The man’s a pioneering legend.
